Google Page Rank Myths Tips Facts

Let’s discuss all the myths, facts and tips about Google Page Rank.

If we talk about how fair this page rank is given by Google to a website it is difficult to tell because there are few websites with high quality content and regular blog updation and backlinking but still they may lose the Page rank without any clue for the web master. There are occasions where good page rank is given to website only with just one article with no quality as well. I have also seen few websites which are allotted PR3 and PR4 even there is not even a single article published till date. So how can we calculate the fairness of this page rank given by Google. Yes it is difficult. But do remember one thing, noone need to run only behind getting Page rank. It is the quality of the content that always wins in the eyes of Google. May be once or twice they may give unfair page ranking but in a longer vision if the blog or a website is maintained with quality then there is no doubt that good page rank will be alloted to that blog.

Yes Page rank has always got its importance. Because sponsors first look at the PR of a site and then Alexa and traffic. The more the PR and good alexa rank the more is the revenue you get from the sponsors. May it be paid review, advertisements, paid links, etc…

To discuss about the shortcuts to get Page rank faster, yes, there are few methods that will give PR without any quality content but it is of no use when the next updation of PR comes from Google then it is highly impossible to escape from the eyes of Google and surely they will penalize the site by reducing the PR or even PR0. Some people redirect their sites initially to a high PR site like Google and get PR for their blogs but will not be stable. This is generally done if they want to sell their blogs in forums or in Flippa by misguiding the PR.

Finally what are all the basic factors to be considered to get a good PR for your site:

1. Quality content. Content is always the king

2. Good Backlinks. Here also quality is important but not quantity. There should be relevant backlinks to your site.

3. Onpage and Offpage SEO

4. Using better keywords and descriptions.

5. Marketing your site. Participation in forums to get high quality backlinks.

So follow these basic tips to get good PR to your site. Do maintain fresh and quality content, catch the pulse of the people, findout what exactly they need and write for the readers then PR, Alexa, Traffic will be quite natural to your blog.

Well, this is just 6th day after I started my site and there is no PR update as of now. What about the PR of your site? Do share your experiences as well.
