Are You Blogging with Passion or for Money?
Well, this is the latest hot topic among the bloggers and newbies in specific. Before jumping into the details, my answer is simple. Money follows Passion.
When it comes to Chess, it is Viswanath Anand. For cricket it is Sachin. In blogging it is Amit Aggarwal of Labnol. So some or other name surely strikes in our mind when we think about a specific field. Let it be sports, education, Blogging. These people are now the role models for most of the people. But after taking them as ideals how many are really successful in their careers? When it comes to the numbers, it is almost negligible. So where the fault lies?
Fault lies in the way of thinking. Our way of approach and how we receive their success and implement in our lives is entirely different. The reason only a few people are successful in blogging is they blog with Passion and catch the pulse of the people searching in Search Engines.
Now a days, many bloggers are turning to blog only with those keywords that return higher earnings. But very less bloggers run blogs that actually serve the purpose. These blogs will have permanent life without any doubt. No matter Panda, Penguin or any other Google Animal hits the blog, it won’t have tremors.
This is the foremost important feature a blogger should possess. Even if you post one article a day or one per week there should be regularity in posting.
Quality of the Content
Traffic from a blog with 1000 articles with no quality is equal to just one article with perfection. Yes its true. It is the quality that matters but not the quantity. If quality is there in the article then bounce rate will be less and reputation of site will be higher. People will be very anxious for the next article to come with higher expectations. It is like a superhit movie. Very few movies are remembered for ever and keep watching them again and again. There are nearly 800+ new movies released in India every year. But how many of them earning well and good. Surely not even 10 or 20. Why? Reason is lack of quality. Same applies in Blogging. This is my own experience I’m sharing. Because in my previous site I gave preference to quantity and paid for it already.
When it comes to SEO, both onpage and offpage are equally important. OnPage SEO includes taking care of the following:
- Meta Title
- Meta description
- Keyword usage
- Site loading time
- Database optimization
- Plugin Usage
- Theme Selection
- Backlink Generation
- Article Submission
- Directory Submission
- RSS Submission
- Video Submission
- Press Releases
- Software Submission
- Blog Commenting
- Bookmark Submission
- Social Networking
I will explain Onpage and Offpage SEO in detail in the coming articles. But due care should be taken for the site and also for each and every article in all the above aspects as mentioned. Then without any doubt blog will be a definite success. So do blog with passion and money follows you. If preference is given to quantity without quality then temporarily one may earn but it will be like a water bubble.
